Why am i facinated with the lifestyle and media of previous decades?
I'm not a grumpy old person who hates the new, I enjoy progression and the advancment of technology, but what matters is the quaility and impact of it. I look at modern media, hardware, software, and even achitecture, and it's so unisnpired and bland! I go to a McDonalds and it looks like an airport, I look at a website that's been around for decades and see the same fonts, colors, overlays, etc. Movies have this horrible looking camera that makes every color looked washed out and dead! I'm all for advancment, but you can't progress with regressed thinking.
If the wheel ain't broke, DONT fix it, but if you do, make it better! for crying out loud!
